Here is a recipe for vermicelli desserts prepared on the Pakistani way step by step by watching video

  • Heat the ghee in a pan, add the vermicelli and stir on low to medium-low flame. Roast till the vermicelli turns golden brown.

  • Reduce the heat and slowly pour the milk in the pan. Mix very well.

  • Let the liquid come to boil, then add the Rainbow Condensed milk and mix well.

  • Add the Saffron and stir. Then add the cashews. Mix well.

  • Add 2 tsp of cardamom powder.

  • Cook the vermicelli kheer mixture for 4 to 5 minutes more, till the vermicelli gets cooked and the milk thickens. When the vermicelli has softened and is cooked well, the kheer will also thicken and look creamy.

  • Serve the vermicelli kheer hot, warm or chilled.
