  • Mix together all ingredients for the marinade. Set aside.

  • In a mixing bowl season chicken pieces with salt, pepper and liquid seasoning. Pour in prepared buttermilk marinade. MARINATE chicken overnight in the refrigerator.

  • Mix in all ingredients for the coating and put in a thick plastic bag.

  • The next day, drain chicken from the marinade. Put into plastic bag with the coating mixture, then shake to coat pieces. Deep-fry until golden.

  • Chef’s Tip: You can marinate the chicken overnight then freeze for later use.
